Elsie M. Stevens, CPA Elsie graduated from Georgia College & State University with a BBA in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration. She earned her CPA distinction in Georgia after passing — in the first sitting — all four parts of the rigorous CPA exam. Each year she completes at least 40 hours of Continuing Professional Education courses to maintain and improve her proficiency. She spent the first four years in accounting working for a couple of small CPA firms. She then returned to her hometown to begin working with our firm. After five years, she was admitted as stockholder in January 2009. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Elsie offers particular expertise in 1031 tax deferred exchanges; estate, individual and business income tax; and audits and reviews of small businesses and non-profits. She believes that the key to adding value and helping clients become successful is understanding their entire business operation – not just the accounting and tax reporting requirements. Her top priority is always being accessible to clients. Whether at work or at home, she stays busy with her husband and two children to keep a healthy work-life balance. She is an active member of Dudley Baptist Church, where she serves on the Stewardship and Children’s Teams. |
